Hitting the Right Targets

"An archer cannot hit the bullseye if he doesn't know where the target is." Anonymous In table tennis, we have a number of critical skills all taking place at the same time or in rapid succession. We need to move to get into position, read and judge the spin and speed on the ball, stay balanced and to execute the stroke. Far too often when we practice or play matches, we forget the importance of really choosing the best location to play the ball to or we might be very afraid of our opponent's best shot and just play the ball to the opposite corner. Eli Baraty has published an outstanding blog post this month on "How Having a Target/Targets on a Table Tennis Table Can Uplift Your Game." We believe this article and the accompanying video is right on target to help you play your absolute best! --Paddle Palace Coaching Staff If you are a coach and would like to be more effective try one of our table and court accessories to save time catching/picking up balls or to feed balls faster when executing multi-ball training.
